Below is a list of our most frequently asked questions and their answers
I’m completely new to Wi-Fi - will these courses be too advanced for me?
The Hamina Certified Network Architect course is perfect for beginners. The first day will be all about Wi-Fi and RF basics, bringing all students up to the same level. The Planning Specialist and Survey Specialist courses focus on product training and don’t cover the fundamentals, so they’re best for experienced wireless professionals.
Will I need a Hamina license before the course?
No. If you don’t have a Hamina License yet, we’ll provide a trial license for the duration of the course.
Can I purchase with a PO or Invoice?
Yes! Contact sales@hamina.com to purchase a training voucher with a PO or invoice.
What payment methods are available?
You can purchase course seats directly from us using a credit card. You can also purchase training vouchers from the Hamina Planner app. If you’d like to pay with an invoice or PO, contact sales@hamina.com.
How do training vouchers work?
1) Buy vouchers from Hamina (in-app or via sales@hamina.com).
2) Receive your voucher codes by email.
3) Go to the MQ Training Services site, select a course/date and enter your code at checkout to register.
I’ve already completed the Hamina Certified Network Architect course - should I take the specialist courses?
Planning Specialist: No. The labs heavily overlap with what you completed in HCNA, so it won't add much value.
Survey Specialist: Maybe! If you want more confidence with Hamina Onsite and Oscium Nomad, this course covers material not included in HCNA.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations more than 4 weeks before the course start date: Full refund.
Cancellation 2-4 weeks before the course start date: 50% refund
Cancellations less than 2 weeks before the course start date: No refund.
